Amidst all the great devastation and huge loss of lives of prominent and promising personalities, with great visions, destroying as far as Port au Prince national palace. This earthquake has cuased an unimaginable increase in criminal activities and lawlessness.
Alot of philantrophist and humanitarian organizations and various countires have been actually assisting in various ways by sending relief materials in cash or kind, which is good.
But did you know one good thing that happened to Haitians especially those that experienced this unimaginable disaster?
It is that this earthquake drew all of them more closer to GOD. If you can remember on television you can see alot of them praising God and praying to God, some others thanking God for saving their lives while others were begging and crying for mercy from God if this has occured because of sin of the people.
The truth is, its not because of their sins, we that are living in other part of the world we are not any better than the Hiatians, it just happened that way, it could have been anywhere else in the world, it could have been you or me. so what good thing have we learnt from this Haiti earthquake " it is that we should always be close to our God always both in prayer, praise,thanksgiving, worship and leading a righteous live that is pleassing to both God and man. so that after wehave left this world, which we will all definitely do someday, we will be remebered for something good and worthwhile.
In our in our own little way i seriously advise all to send assistance, relief materials e.t.c to Haitians and above all remember them in our prayers because it is what you do to others that others will do to you remember, that God turn the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. Ibeleive God will visit you in your own area of need when you pray for them
